Bond & Beyond: Akij Ceramics Brings Architects Together for a Day of Inspiration

Akij Ceramics, a concern of AkijBashir Group, organized the BOND & BEYOND Architects’ Day Out at Royena Resort, Gazipur, bringing together leading architects from across Bangladesh for a day of collaboration, networking, and cultural celebration.

Bond & Beyond is a signature initiative of AkijBashir Group designed to strengthen professional connectivity with architects and encourage long-term collaboration. Since its inception, the program has been held six times, including three editions in partnership with the Department of Architecture, Public Works Department (PWD). The day-long event featured interactive sessions, insightful discussions, and engaging activities aimed at promoting innovation and knowledge sharing within the architectural sector.

Chief Architect Mir Manzurur Rahman of the Department of Architecture, Ministry of Housing and Public Works, stated: “Events like Bond & Beyond provide a platform for architects to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and collectively advance modern and sustainable design practices in Bangladesh.”

Mohammod Khourshed Alam, Chief Operating Officer of AkijBashir Group, added: “Our goal is to support the architectural community by creating spaces that inspire creativity and foster collaboration. The day concluded with a cultural performance and a grand dinner, providing further opportunities for networking. Distinguished attendees included Mohammed Ashraful Haque, General Manager (Sales) of Akij Ceramics, and Md. Shahriar Zaman, Head of Marketing at AkijBashir Group.
